When the validation to charge a card is denied, the card company supplies very little information. When a transaction is rejected, it could be because:
- there are insufficient funds/credit remaining on that card's account
- a number was incorrectly entered (including the expiration date or CVV)
- your card is not authorised for online transactions
- or sometimes it's just a temporary problem, and attempting to charge the card again after a few hours or days may be successful.
In the majority of cases, contacting the card company will help you resolve the problem.
